Voice on tape: Saint Werenfrid (Dutch)

He is not the most well-known companion of Saint Willibrord, but Werenfrid ('Werenfridus') has enjoyed a steady veneration for centuries. And then at the end of the second world war, his relics disappeared from the church of Elst (the Netherlands). Anne-Ruth Groen has produced a wonderful podcast series for the regional broadcaster (Omroep Gelderland), searching for the lost bones of Werenfrid. It was a pleasure to contribute (a little) to this nice podcast and to help shine a light on this eighth-century missionary. I appear on the last few episodes.
